Our Mission

We believe good mental health is the key to aging well and recovering from physical illness.

Ivy Psychiatry brings complete and preventative mental health care to more people, supporting them in living life to the fullest — no matter their age.

Who We Are

Ivy Psychiatry is a co-practicing community of board-certified psychiatric nurse providers who work collaboratively with psychiatrists.

Our network of providers is expanding access to care for older adults while expanding their independent consulting practice.

This means better, more consistent care for patients and more flexible, better-paying engagements for practitioners — all at no cost to hospitals and nursing homes.

How We Work

We know treating mental health conditions is different for seniors.

Ivy’s psychiatric providers are experts in assessing and treating mental health challenges in older adults.

Working alongside in-house staff, we bring psychiatric care to hospitals and nursing homes that don’t have mental-health specialists.

Ivy’s reliable, compassionate providers reduce administrative needs while increasing regularly scheduled psychiatry visits for patients who need them.

To us, success looks like enhanced patient wellness, reduced hospitalizations, deficiency-free OMH surveys, and a decrease in unnecessary psychotropic medications.

Plus, everything we do is CMS compliant.

Our Services

Ivy’s psychiatric providers are skilled in assessing and treating a range of mental health challenges faced by nursing home residents.

We know the special considerations that come with working with people living in long-term care environments, and we work seamlessly with your in-house team to provide comprehensive care in the following areas.

ASSESSMENT

Our expert psychiatric providers can assess a wide range of mental health challenges frequently faced by nursing home residents, including depression, anxiety, and dementia-related behaviors.

CONSISTENT CARE

We deliver specialized, dependable sessions to patients as long as they are needed, coordinating our work with all relevant in-house care staff.

TREATMENT

We see each patient as a whole person. This allows us to suggest creative and proactive CMS compliant interventions designed and implemented in collaboration with patients, families and facility staff.

ATTENTIVE FOLLOW-UP

Because we’re working with patients regularly, getting in-depth follow-ups and complete updates are a standard part of our care.
